America's Biggest Land Owners (via Forbes)

Came across a pretty good article on Forbes today regarding America's largest land owners and why they invest in vast acres of ranch and farm land. Forbes cites many reasons, for owning land, such as investment purposes as well as business reasons. A few of the landowners, buy to prevent urban sprawl and protect the beauty of the land while others utilize their farm land for harvesting crops and mountainous regions for timber. Great read and good photos as well
