First Ever Big Sky Fly Fishing Invitational a Great Success

The first annual Big Sky Fly Fishing Invitational took place this past July 7th and was a rousing success. One of our participants, an experienced angler, commented that he had the “best morning of trout fishing he’s ever had.”  Another participant was adding up the total feet of trout he landed in the day.

The tournament raised $6000 for Big Sky Youth Empowerment, a wonderful organization that helps ‘at risk teenagers’. The Montana fly fishing tournament is organized by Fay Ranches and it has a unique format; there is no competition. Everyone has fun and the kids are the winners.  Thank you to all participants and to the generous contribution of one of our favorite clients who made his ranch available for the day.
