Yellowstone Park, Lewis & Clark Caverns and Family

Family at the Lewis and Clark Caverns near Three ForksHi All – what a great week we had with family in town last week from Virginia.  We went to Yellowstone Park in Montana and Wyoming  on Monday and the Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park near Three Forks on Wednesday.  If you haven’t been to the caverns before, it’s definitely worth the short trip from Bozeman or Butte and the park rangers and employees there are very helpful and friendly.  It’s approximately a two-hour tour and very interesting – you get to see bats, fantastic formations, hear some great stories from over the centuries and just be in awe.  We took PollyAnna’s parents as well and they had a great time and found it easy to navigate the caverns and the short hike up the trail.  All-in-all, just another great trip, for very little money, that one can take in southwest Montana.
