Ashton, Idaho - $9,720,000
The ranch is located 12 miles east of Ashton, Idaho, in the Conant Creek drainage which has its beginnings 20 miles east in the Targhee National Forest’s Teton Range. Ashton is a small agricultural community with a population of just over 1,100 people and provides most of the essentials, including groceries, fly shops, cafes and fuel. The resort town of Driggs is approximately 25 miles to the southeast and offers all the resort amenities along with Targhee Ski Area just a few more miles to the east. Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is approximately 90 minutes south of the property.
What truly makes this a special property are the large meadows that run the length of the creek and the aspen hillsides that create a wonderful mosaic of diverse wildlife habitat. On the upper portions of the property, there are 400 acres of farm ground which are all contiguous. Conant Creek Ranch sits at an elevation of approximately 5,500 feet. The willow-lined creek and riparian areas stretch into sage covered hillsides providing for an ecosystem of many plants that flourish on the property. The timber consists mainly of aspen trees and cottonwoods with a few pines scattered throughout the property.
