Mary Grande, Bookkeeper
Fay welcomes Mary Grande, bookeeper at the ranch brokerage. Mary was raised a “ranch kid” on the family cattle operation founded by her great-grandfather (the first Norwegian immigrant to settle at Lennep) Mary joins the Fay Ranches team with great enthusiasm for sharing her love of Montana and its wide open spaces. Her education began in the Lennep country school with her sister, brother and two cousins in attendance. She attended Pacific Lutheran University, the University of Miami, and Montana State University, where she graduated with a BS in Animal Science. This degree was put to good use in the following years cleaning calving pens, raking hay and raising three children in the beautiful Shields Valley, where she still resides. Her daily commute over the Bridger Mountains is both scenic and adventurous, filled with sightings of deer, elk, bear, moose, and even mountain lions.
Mary brings an eclectic resume to Fay Ranches – she taught ballet for over ten years, was a snowboard and ski instructor at Bridger Bowl for nine years (as well as working in the Snow Sports office), served as business manager for the Bozeman Symphony, and has worked as accounts assistant at the Round House Ski & Sports Center for the past four years. Her favorite job has always been “Mom” however, and now “GG” as well, with the birth of her granddaughter this January. Her daughter Callee and husband Chad ranch at Wilsall, her son Jace just finished his second year at MT Tech in Butte and is transferring to Bobcat country this fall, and son Seth will be a senior at Shields Valley High School. This love of family, and the rare opportunity afforded her in growing up - and then raising children - on a ranch, gives her a great appreciation of the Fay Ranches mission, and she is very excited to join this exceptional group of professionals.
