Born and raised on Lookout Mountain in Southeast Tennessee, George has substantial experience in farm and rural land real estate transactions.  After a career in the outdoor-sporting industry and years of managing agricultural and recreational land projects, George has translated his diverse skills and experience into a successful career brokering some of the most beautiful land in the Southeast.

George attended The Baylor School in his hometown of Chattanooga, TN.  He graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC after wrestling collegiately and acquiring a B.A. in history.  Feeling drawn to the wild open country of the Northern Rockies, he moved to Montana then Idaho embarking on a successful career as a fly-fishing guide and host of bird-hunting expeditions.  Later, upon moving back home to Tennessee, George owned and operated a widely recognized local fly-fishing, bird-hunting and outfitting travel business. His angling skills earned him Grand Champion honors of the inaugural Del Brown Permit Fly Fishing Tournament in 2001 and success in many other events.

George was raised in a family actively engaged in rural real estate investment, development and brokerage for decades.  Combined with his land management and sporting background, George brings a diversity of knowledge and experience to the land real estate brokerage arena.  This has provided George and his clients with valuable insight into investment value in pine/hardwood timber tracts, alternative natural resource assets, conventional row-crop farmland, livestock grazing operations, and unique sporting properties.

George is a valuable addition to the Fay team serving as Principal Broker in the Fay Ranches Southeast regional office in downtown Chattanooga, TN.  George currently resides on Lookout Mountain, TN, where he raises his two sons, one daughter, and his English Setter bird dog Blackie.
