George attended The Baylor School in his hometown of Chattanooga, TN. He graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC after wrestling collegiately and acquiring a B.A. in history. Feeling drawn to the wild open country of the Northern Rockies, he moved to Montana then Idaho embarking on a successful career as a fly-fishing guide and host of bird-hunting expeditions. Later, upon moving back home to Tennessee, George owned and operated a widely recognized local fly-fishing, bird-hunting and outfitting travel business. His angling skills earned him Grand Champion honors of the inaugural Del Brown Permit Fly Fishing Tournament in 2001 and success in many other events.
George was raised in a family actively engaged in rural real estate investment, development and brokerage for decades. Combined with his land management and sporting background, George brings a diversity of knowledge and experience to the land real estate brokerage arena.
