Sheri Wytcherley

Principal Broker

Growing up in a military family, Sheri became very patriotic, developed an adventurous spirit, and grew passionate about helping people.  After living in Alaska, Japan, Hawaii, and California, Sheri moved to Southern Oregon in 1985. With her sense of adventure, she felt at home in the Pacific Northwest. Some of her best childhood memories were formed while living in Alaska, fishing, camping, skiing, and enjoying the dramatic seasons.

Sheri has truly lived the Oregon wilderness adventure. She had three children in a one room cabin with an outhouse and no indoor plumbing. She grew all of her family’s food and lived off the grid in the mountains above Sunny Valley where her family generated power from a pelton wheel on the creek. She and her husband milled the lumber for their house and barns from timber off their land and their closest neighbors were gold miners. After that adventure they moved down from the mountains to Sunny Valley where they had a 150 acre ranch.

While living in the mountains of Southern Oregon Sheri became a timber broker. It didn’t take long to realize that real estate was a natural fit for her. Sheri started her real estate career with Prudential selling timber land and working with contractors. Later she moved to Coldwell Banker when she began representing luxury properties. The deal changer came when Sheri sold her first ranch. She discovered her passion, made a bold statement by putting her name in gold on the side of her big green Chevy dually and began focusing on selling ranch properties. She quickly became known by her clients and peers as an expert in the field of ranch and rural real estate.

In 2005 Sheri became a principal broker and opened Oregon Ranch & Home in order to better serve her clients. She specialized in ranches, equestrian properties, and luxury estates. As the wine industry began flourishing in Southern Oregon, so did Sheri’s reputation for brokering vineyard properties as well. She received the honor of being ranked #5 in Southern Oregon for dollar volume sold for 2008, during one of the most challenging years the market has seen in decades. Sheri is also an online instructor for real estate continuing education classes in 21 states, and will soon be licensed as a real estate broker in California!

Sheri is still living her Oregon dream on 20 acres of heaven in the foothills of Josephine County, with its historic walnut orchard, old farmhouse and cottage, 2 horses, 4 dogs, some barn cats, and chickens. Sheri loves to travel, hike, raft the Rogue River, play with the horses and grandkids, and work on the farm.
