Located in Southeastern Oregon in the High Oregon desert, sits the Obendorf Ranch. This is a very productive, improved cow/calf ranch that can back ground all of the calves with feed produced on the ranch. The ranch can run 700 cows on the permit at the peak of use. They run some inside as well. All of the cattle come off the permit and into the private irrigated ground out in the desert. They wean the calves out there and bring them to the home place leaving the cows out until later in the fall. They can irrigate back all of the home place for fall feed. The ranch will run 950+ cows, back ground all of the calves and sell some alfalfa hay. The home place has Jordan Creek water and well water from high capacity wells. Both homestead places produce late summer and fall feed. They also have range, both private and federal fenced separate from the permit. There are 3 pivots producing corn for silage, alfalfa, and wild hay. There are also 2 very reliable reservoirs for irrigation and excellent water rights. Great improvements include a 1,941 square foot home (3 bedroom, 2 bath and garage), a 2,880 square foot shop (fully enclosed with an overhead door), a new set of pipe corrals with a hydraulic squeeze chute, a 900 +/- head feed yard with 1,450 linear feet of bunk and a set of shipping corrals. *Can be purchased with cattle and equipment.* The Obendorf Ranch is located just 2 miles to the town of Jordan Valley.
