Derek Van Itallie is the Business Development Manager for Fay Ranches. Working closely with the Fay Rural Community Foundation, Land Investor platforms, and core Fay Ranch initiatives – Derek’s responsibilities and influence are vast. Derek studied at Montana State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing in 2020. He has over a decade of experience in sales, marketing, and advertising.

Derek grew up in the Great Lakes state of Michigan, where his thirst for adventure was fueled by long seasons and short ski runs. His ambition has led him around the world and towards many hobbies. When Derek isn’t applying his professional skills to grow revenue channels at Fay Ranches, he can be found skiing, golfing, camping or writing and playing music, and much more. Since 2016, he has found Bozeman to be a great home base for his lifestyle and personality and is excited to be expanding Fay Ranches’ business partnerships.
