As Director of Sales for Fay Ranches, Susan provides strategic leadership to drive performance, growth, and excellence across our sales organization. She oversees the Agent Sales Support Department, ensuring our agents have the tools, resources, marketing coordination, and operational support needed to serve clients at the highest level. Her role bridges vision and execution, aligning sales strategy with day-to-day processes, strengthening collaboration, and cultivating a culture of accountability and innovation. By focusing on both people and performance, she works to elevate the agent experience, streamline systems, and position Fay Ranches for continued success in an evolving marketplace.

Susan, a Bozeman resident for 20+ years, earned a degree in Finance and Spanish from San Diego State University. Shortly after that, she began her career as a financial analyst in the aerospace industry, eventually moving into cross-border financial services for U.S. companies expanding into Mexico. After several successful years, she moved into venture capital, where she participated in evaluating and valuing prospective investments. Then, she segued into private equity marketing for a large investment banking firm in San Francisco. Having moved to Napa Valley by this time, she eventually established herself as a financial and marketing consultant for numerous wineries.

Susan’s past roles also include serving as the Director of Operations for a non-profit dedicated to delivering post-deployment decompression programs for active-duty special operations forces. Her most recent endeavor saw her as the Managing Director of a prominent real estate firm, the Bozeman, Montana office, overseeing its operations.

Beyond her professional commitments, Susan finds solace in planning her next adventure, which always includes airline tickets and suitcases.

Susan also serves as the Executive Director of the Fay Rural Community Foundation.
