Productive Central Oregon Cattle Ranch Sells
Published: December 18, 2014
Prineville, Oregon – Fay Ranches recently completed the complex sale of the 695-acre family-owned Coyote Moon Ranch outside Prineville, Oregon. The ranch features irrigated farm and grazing land with panoramic views of the Cascades. Coyote Moon Ranch was purchased by organic dairymen from the Willamette Valley.
Fay Ranches’ broker, Jerry Hicks, represented the family selling the property, and Jeff Larkin of Jeff Larkin Realty represented the buyers. It was a complex sale due to negotiations over the term of an existing lease on the property, correcting encroachments and the allocation of assets, but ended with an area record-sale price for the land type.
“I am proud to have represented the sellers of this great property, they are salt of the earth folks, and they really took great care of their land,” said Fay Ranches’ broker, Jerry Hicks. “We worked hard to ensure all concerns were addressed so that this sale could successfully process. In the end, I think everyone ended up a winner.”
