Bobby Lockrem is an Oregon Real Estate Broker who was raised in Bend, Oregon, where his passion for the great outdoors was cultivated. An avid angler, golfer, sportsman, and hunter, much of his youth was spent fishing the Deschutes, hunting in Eastern Oregon, downhill ski racing on Mount Bachelor, and recreating in Central Oregon. After attending Arizona State University on a baseball scholarship, Bobby took up the game of rugby and played professionally for the USA Eagles Fifteens and Seven’s Side, which took him around the world.

From 2001-2008, Bobby owned and managed High Mountain Fitness health club in Basalt, Colorado, while continuing to compete in rugby at the highest level. In 2007, Bobby started his career selling land and ranches in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado, aligning his business interests with his enthusiasm for the great outdoors. In 2009, he moved back to Bend, Oregon, with his family to work in the Sotheby’s Land and Ranch division. Over the past eleven years, Bobby has gained a unique range of knowledge from selling orchards, vineyards, and working ranches, as well as high-end homes and hobby farms. Bobby is genuinely interested in the needs of his clientele, and in seeing them reach their land investment goals. Many of Bobby’s clients have become longtime friends—a testimony to his honesty, integrity, warm personality, and hard work ethic.

Bobby values leadership and nurtures young people in a variety of pursuits. Living in Bend has given his family the opportunity to engage first-hand in daily farm life, raising livestock for 4-H and FFA projects. Bobby has enjoyed traveling with his daughters as they competed in horse jumping competitions from Canada to South Korea. He enjoys big game hunting in Colorado and Utah with his son, as well as fishing lakes, streams, and saltwater. In 2020, Bobby was asked to help coach his kids’ high school alpine ski teams, where both the men’s and women’s teams brought home State and Regional championships. Bobby thrives in cultivating meaningful relationships and making an impact on those he can serve.
