Clara-Leigh Evans
Licensed Assistant to Oscar Evans
Clara‑Leigh Evans brings a lifetime of agricultural heritage, leadership, and service to her role as the licensed assistant to her husband, Associate Broker (Retired) Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Evans, at Fay Ranches. Raised on farm and forest land in north Alabama, then serving as a National FFA Officer, she developed an early passion for land stewardship and the privilege of land ownership. With a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Leadership Education from the University of Florida and decades of experience spanning agricultural education, state and national FFA program leadership, and business ownership, Clara‑Leigh embodies the Fay Ranches pillars of Family, Investment Value, Sporting Pursuits, and Conservation. Her background managing complex logistics, budgets, events, and partnerships, as well as her work in farm, ranch, and land transactions, reflects the competence, integrity, and client‑first mindset central to the Fay Ranches culture.
Working alongside Oscar is a natural extension of the teamwork that has defined their marriage, parenting, and entrepreneurial ventures, ranging from a custom soybean-harvest business to restaurant ownership, and from raising their three children in Idaho since 2010. Clara‑Leigh connects deeply with families who share her love of agriculture and with those navigating the challenges of raising a child with special needs, a journey that has shaped her compassion and service‑driven approach. When she is not supporting clients or contributing to the Fay Ranches team, she enjoys flying as a private pilot, exploring globally, volunteering with FFA, leading worship music, and spending treasured time outdoors with her family. Her work is grounded in honesty, collaboration, and a commitment to helping clients steward land that will enrich their families and communities for generations.
