Laura assists as the Agent Coordinator for Fay Ranches, Inc. Laura was born and raised in Billings, Montana, and she was fortunate to have an adventurous family that explored Montana extensively and enjoyed a family cabin near Darby, where she still spends much of her leisure time.
Laura has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication-Public Relations from Montana State University and a Master of Science in Communication-Empirical Research Design emphasis from West Virginia University. She taught Rhetorical Communication, Public Speaking, and Small Group Communication at MSU and WVU. She will be licensed in Montana.
She was a dental clinic manager and co-owner in Bozeman for most of her career, with extensive experience in customer service, management, and creative problem-solving. She has traveled considerably in Montana and all the lower 50 states and, as a result, is familiar with the landscape and land issues of our great rural areas. She is active in various real estate investments. Having taught college-level communication courses, Laura is adept at creating a logical argument and is skilled at procuring effective marketing efforts.
Laura and her husband, Bruce, live in Bozeman but frequently visit his home place in West Virginia. They camp, hike, and discover new areas with their Casita camper and three dogs. When the impulse hits, Laura is a rock collector, metal smith, and jeweler. They have three daughters: a conservation biologist in Maui, a commercial architect/ green building consultant in Raleigh, and an archaeologist in the Grand Canyon.
