When buying or selling land, experience matters—and Ryan Deskins brings a lifetime of it. Raised on a fifth-generation cattle ranch and dairy farm in the Pacific Northwest, Ryan understands landownership from the inside out. He’s not just a real estate agent; he’s a rancher, businessman, and trusted advisor who knows what it takes to make land work—for families, for investment, and for future generations. Whether you’re a seasoned landowner or looking to build something new, Ryan combines real-world ranching expertise with sharp business acumen to guide clients through successful transactions with confidence and clarity.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Ryan spent 17 years in Montana, where he built and operated businesses while actively ranching. His firsthand experience in both launching operations from the ground up and stepping into established ones gives him a unique ability to serve both generational landowners and first-time buyers. His career is built on integrity, trust, and communication—qualities that have made him a respected leader in the industry.
Ryan’s expertise extends far beyond real estate. With a strong background in business negotiations, particularly with large corporations, he successfully navigates complex sales with precision. His track record includes the successful sale of farms, ranches, timberland, and vacant land, making him a go-to resource for buyers and sellers alike.
A two-time graduate of Ranching for Profit and currently working toward his designation as an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), Ryan is deeply committed to land stewardship. His passion for regenerative agriculture and sustainable land management drives his approach, ensuring profitability while improving soil and animal health.
Now back in the Pacific Northwest, Ryan operates a stocker ranch alongside his wife and oldest son. When he’s not working, you’ll find him in the mountains on horseback or traveling in his RV, connecting with the hardworking people who define rural America. Faith and family remain at the core of everything he does, anchoring his work in purpose and integrity.
