Sharon is an administrative assistant working for Jim Vidamour in the La Veta, Colorado, office. Sharon brings 20+ years of experience in the title insurance business to Fay Ranches. While in the title insurance business, Sharon developed a passion for bringing buyers and sellers together to purchase their dream properties in the Southwest, a region that she fell in love with as a child on family vacations.
Sharon grew up in Downers Grove, Illinois, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Parks and Recreation Administration from Illinois State University. Sharon has lived and worked in Colorado since 1983. Sharon worked for the Telluride Ski Resort and went on to own her own title insurance company in Telluride, Colorado, for more than 18 years, where she was responsible for the close of escrow on multi-million-dollar transactions. Looking for a change of scenery and a bit lower elevation, Sharon and her husband Gregg relocated to Southern Colorado in 2011 and settled in La Veta. As avid coffee drinkers, they turned one of their favorite past-times into a business venture and opened their coffee shop, Paradise Coffee.
In 1983, Sharon came out to Colorado as a ski enthusiast as the mountains of Colorado called her name. In 1989, Sharon married her husband Gregg, and she added motorcycling and golf to her list of passions. Together, they spend their winters skiing the Rocky Mountains, traveling as far as Canada in search of the best “pow-pow.” When the blue skies call, they each ride their own Harley’s on trips around the Southwest and have enjoyed many summer trips to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
