East Bridger Refuge is a unique property just 45± minutes from Bozeman, Montana. In the foothills on the east side of the Bridger Mountains and just northwest of Sedan, the 80± deeded acres boast several beautiful changes in topography and vegetation. As you enter the property, south-facing grass and sage pastures lead to dense Douglas fir-covered ridges. From this vantage point, you can see the South Fork of 16 Mile Creek surrounded by quaking aspens and willows. To the north and south, you have spectacular views of the Bridger Mountains, as well as the Crazy Mountains to the east. All these transitions make for eye-appealing viewsheds and entice wildlife with cover, travel corridors, and access to food and water. The rich soil and abundant springs make an ideal environment for gardens, crops, and farm animals. East Bridger Refuge borders Gallatin National Forest on its southern and western boundaries, providing direct access to thousands of acres of public land. The other neighbors are large in-holdings, some long-time ranching families, and others new arrivals who have made significant commitments to their properties, creating a uniquely kept neighborly environment of communication and honor. With all this adjacent wide open private ground and public land, many elk, deer, black bears, and moose utilize the 12 springs for water as they travel throughout the refuge. East Bridger Refuge offers endless build sites throughout the property, taking in the views in all directions. Additionally, there is a comfortable two-bedroom modular with outbuildings and corals that the current owners have used as their hunting camp for over a decade.
