This beautiful 1,035± acre ranch is located approximately nine miles southeast of Lingle, Wyoming, in the heart of Goshen County. This year-round, well-balanced operation has an owner-rated carrying capacity of 60 to 70 cow/calf pairs year-round or five months of summer grazing with 80 pairs. The ranch is divided into six well-maintained pastures offering primarily rolling, native grassland and draws that supply excellent natural protection. Two wells provide water to the two residences and an ample supply to livestock through underground pipelines that lead to various stock tanks advantageously located in all six pastures on the ranch.
The improvements at the ranch are exceptionally well-maintained. With stunning views of the valley, the headquarters include a 2,460-square-foot home built in 2008, with a new addition completed in 2017. The primary residence features two welcoming living rooms, one with an excellent pellet stove and the other with a propane fireplace. Newer appliances and Silestone countertops compliment the spacious kitchen.
There are three large bedrooms, one and three-fourths bathrooms – both remodeled in 2019, and a two-car, attached garage making easy access into the home. There are several outbuildings at the main headquarters, including a new 36-foot X 40-foot cement floor shop with an automatic ten-foot door and an additional 30-foot X 48-foot cement floor shop.
An older home with several outbuildings and corrals is just over a quarter mile east of the headquarters. The Three Buttes Ranch provides an excellent habitat for wildlife, including mule deer, white-tail deer, antelope, sharp-tail grouse, and other upland bird species.
