Neil Bangs
Responsible Broker, WY
Licensed in WY, NE
Neil was raised in a small ranching community in Northern California. From an early age, he was introduced to the values that a lifestyle of ranching and farming can instill in a young man: A never-say-quit attitude, honesty, dependability, and self-reliance.
In 1986, a move from the ever-growing state of California to the recreational and scenic Flathead Valley in Montana enabled him to start a construction business, which he sustained for 30 years. Priding himself on the ranching values his parents instilled, he built his business on the foundation of quality, attention to detail, and honesty. After eighteen years in Kalispell, Montana, growing his construction business and starting a family, he found his way to Buffalo, Wyoming.
In 2004, he decided to apply the same principles and values he had used in the construction trade to the real estate industry in Buffalo. For ten years, Neil worked in the residential and commercial end of real estate, finding that he was most successful in the raw and relatively vacant land industry. In 2014, he decided to get back to his roots and has focused on the working and recreational ranch field for the last five years in Wyoming, helping buyers and sellers accomplish their goals. The transition from residential and commercial sales to ranch sales was a breath of fresh air. The friendships and the relationships developed in the ranch sales industry with customers and clients are the lifeblood of his business.
The respect and reputation garnered by simply doing what you say you will do when you say you will do it and holding true to your word tend to bring Neil and like-minded clients together. Neil is proud to be a part of Fay Ranches, Inc because of their stellar reputation and widespread reach, and looks forward to bringing outstanding service to clients and customers in Wyoming.
When Neil isn't tied up with his work representing Wyoming and Nebraska Land, he's deeply involved in giving back to his local community in Wyoming. He's really proud of his crew in Wyoming and the meaningful projects they've tackled alongside the Fay Rural Community Foundation. They're all about making a positive impact in the places they call home.
On a personal note, Neil's a big supporter of local events and sponsors a couple of talented young rodeo athletes from the Worland area. He's also honored to be backing Cole Reiner, a hometown bareback rider making waves in the rodeo scene.
In his downtime, Neil loves nothing more than escaping to the Big Horn mountains with his two kids, Trevor and Calli, and his partner, Barbara. Being outdoors is where he's happiest, whether he's hunting and fishing across the northwest or soaking up the vibes in Mexico. From fishing off the coast of Sinaloa to duck hunting in California's Sacramento Valley and exploring Montana's Bob Marshall Wilderness, Neil's outdoor adventures have left him with a treasure trove of lifelong memories.
Neil's commitment to both his professional endeavors and his personal passions shines through embodying the spirit of community and adventure that defines Wyoming living.

Through my years of ranch real estate, one thing that has become very apparent is the expectations of what a cattle ranch should look like in the eyes of a buyer. Most buyers picture waves of knee-high grass, lush, irrigated hay meadows, mountains of stored hay, and live water running through the ranch. Although this […]
