Born and raised in Central Oregon, Jerry has specialized in the sale of large farms and ranches throughout Oregon since 2000. He has the great fortune of being well connected with the land and locals of Eastern and Central Oregon, helping to create a successful legacy of brokering the finest agricultural and recreational properties.
Jerry grew up enjoying the ranching way of life. Team roping and big game hunting in the expansive Oregon mountain ranges still remain his favorite pastimes. Before starting his ranch brokerage career sixteen years ago, he worked on a number of area ranches, and in the logging industry. Jerry has been blessed with the opportunity to manage the Fopiano Ranch (family-owned since 1873) since 2007. Managing the ranch brings Jerry great joy and hands-on experience overseeing the cattle, hay, farming, timber, and big game outfitting efforts. He considers himself a lucky guy to have the opportunity to manage such a pristine ranch and, additionally, offer his real estate service to ranch buyers and sellers. From estate planning to grant writing, timber management to outfitting, rangeland management to budgeting, Jerry is always willing to share his knowledge.
Jerry married Kim in 1997 and, with God’s helping hand, they have raised a beautiful blended family of seven. Kim is a successful escrow officer with Western Title and Escrow in Prineville, Oregon. She enjoys traveling with the family as they team rope across the west. Jerry is always ready to share how proud he is of his family.

Testimonials for Jerry Hicks
Team Hicks is awesome! I cannot say enough about Jesica, Jerry, and Hunter. The Team Hicks experience is exceptional. They know the market and truly connect with their clients to help make the purchase a good fit. Jesica was our agent first to buy, then later to sell. Jesica patiently traipsed all over Central Oregon as we tried to decide where to land after 50 + years on the old farmstead. She found the perfect spot with the best neighbors. Jesica is more than a realtor she is a friend who bonded with us during our 3.5 month property search. Three and a half years later with the passing of my father, team Hicks came through again. They first sold my sister’s place in record time and a month later listed my place and closed quickly. Despite a hurdle or two they took the time to reassure me when I got rattled and smoothly guided the process forward to a successful sale. Capable caring hands is what you find at Team Hicks of Fay Ranches. Thanks for everything Jesica
I am glad that we had Team Hicks on our side. We recently purchased two properties & sold one with Team Hicks. Jerry, Jesica, and Hunter made the process easy and went above and beyond to get the deal done. Their knowledge of the real estate business & markets is exceptional. They are an honest and hard-working team and were a pleasure to work with.
For the past 3 years my wife Sue and I have been working with Jerry, Hunter, and Jesica "Team Hicks" in search of the perfect ranch property for us and our family. Jerry and Team Hicks have been invaluable in this search with their experience and knowledge of ranch properties. This is our first purchase of ranch property, and we had a lot to learn. We really appreciate the advise and information we received from Team Hicks during the search of many different properties. The ranch property we settled on buying was the right ranch for us, and we did so with confidence. Riding around the ranch in Jerry's side by side he explained so many aspects of the hunting potential and ranch developments which could be improved upon on the ranch. We are looking forward to making the ranch our own and enjoying many years with the whole family. Along with this we have met a wonderful family in Team Hicks, and have developed a friendship for years to come.
Our family recently had the pleasure of working with Jerry, Hunter, and Jesica Hicks of Faye Ranches as we purchased recreational property in NE Oregon. The communication and follow up during the whole process far exceeded our expectations, especially since we were purchasing from out of state. Our family has been involved with countless real estate transactions over the years, and it was truly a pleasure working with the Hicks team. We would highly recommend the Hicks team at Faye Ranches for anybody looking to purchase or sell properties.
I want you to know what a great experience Ruth and I have had in working with “Team Hicks” of Fay Ranches in the purchase of Dutch Flat Ranch. From the initial enquiry and thru out the entire purchase Jerry, Hunter and Jesica have been so responsive and accommodating to all our questions and requests, your knowledge and experience when it comes to the purchase and ownership of ranch property is invaluable. I can't help to smile when I think of the time you spent driving us around in your side by side viewing the property and going to all its many corners, feeding us while we looked in awe at grazing elk and exploring the old sawmill site. I want you to know that not only did we purchase our “dream property” but we feel we have made some lifelong friends through this process.
