The Yellowstone Basin Ranch is located under ten minutes from West Yellowstone, Montana – home to the famed west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. The ranch is the first private land upstream from Hebgen Lake on the South Fork of the Madison River and is adjacent to the two million acre Custer-Gallatin National Forest lands that lead into Yellowstone Park. Only one paved road separates the ranch from Yellowstone. Wildlife pass back and forth from Yellowstone and onto the property – making this 294± ranch its own private version of Yellowstone National Park.
This recreational paradise offers endless year-round amenities on and off the ranch. The two spring fed reservoirs totaling 8.5± surface acres and the 4.4± miles of Denny and Ditch Creeks on the property as well as the effective 1.4± miles of the South Fork of the Madison River are perfect for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and waterfowl observing/hunting. The ranch, and nearby West Yellowstone, offer tremendous winter activates such as snowmobiling, snow shoeing and incredible cross-country skiing. The property is teeming with wildlife such as elk, moose, antelope, mule and whitetail deer, bears, raptors, eagles, wolves and waterfowl.
