David consistently ranks among the region’s top producers and has been recognized by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors for his outstanding achievements.

A graduate of the University of South Carolina, David began a career in marketing in Washington, DC. He eventually moved back to Charleston and continued working in sales, and in 1992 began his real estate career. In 2000 he started his own company, Ingle Properties, and in 2010 joined NAI Avant. In 2017, David and his partners bought and created NAI Charleston.

Throughout his years in real estate, David has successfully represented many buyers and sellers of recreational properties and plantations in coastal South Carolina. As a previous owner of a recreational property in the ACE Basin, he learned many aspects of what it takes to be a good steward of the land. He has been committed to providing insight to his clients about land management and conservation for many years.

A native Charlestonian, David grew up loving the outdoors, spending much of his time in rice fields, woods, and on the marshes with his father. Since then, he has witnessed unparalleled growth in his city and the surrounding area of the Low Country. Finding a good balance between growth and conservation has been at the forefront of his work because of this. The relationship with his clients is based on honesty, openness, and integrity and is the driving force to his success and helping his clients achieve ultimate results.

After 30+ years of marriage, David and Eliza enjoy an empty nest; they spend time visiting their three daughters in New York, North Carolina, and Colorado. You can frequently find David in the woods or on the water with his chocolate lab, Delta.
