Heidi Maxwell is the Senior Systems Administrator for Fay Ranches, Inc., based at the headquarters office in Bozeman, Montana. She is responsible for the technology platforms, data systems, and operational infrastructure that keep Fay Ranches running — from CRM administration and systems integration to IT support and the company’s evolving use of artificial intelligence.

Heidi brings a technical foundation that sets her apart: she holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and has spent her career applying that systems-thinking mindset to increasingly complex operational roles — including general management in manufacturing and office management and drafting at a Bozeman architectural firm. She joined Fay Ranches in 2018 and has grown with the company through significant expansion, including supporting the launch of Endstate Commercial Partners.

Originally from upstate New York, Heidi made the move to Montana in 1995 — first with the Montana Conservation Corps and then as part of the trail crew at Yellowstone National Park. Montana clearly stuck. She lives in Bozeman with her husband James, a teacher at Bozeman High School, their two daughters Rowan and Ophelia, and two white German Shepherds. Outside of work, she can usually be found gardening, crafting, or cooking, exploring Montana’s trails and backcountry with her family, or being enthusiastically redirected by two white German Shepherds who have strong opinions about when it’s time for an adventure.
