Situated in the rugged and scenic Missouri Breaks, the Snow Creek Ranch offers 2,560± acres (2,200± deeded acres, 360± BLM) of untouched, majestic landscape featuring spring-fed deep draws, cliffs, and beautiful rock outcroppings with native prairie interspersed.
Renowned for its excellent hunting, trophy elk, mule deer, and antelope can be found tucked away in the forested draws and the picturesque rock formations. The Snow Creek drainage meanders through the property and stretches out to the Snow Creek Bay, a popular recreation area on Fort Peck. Remnants of earth’s first visitors have been discovered in the area and this geologic formation. They have provided Paleontologists with fossils including Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Mosasaurus, and duck-billed dinosaurs, to name a few. Fossil hunting continues to be a favorite pastime in the area.

The Snow Creek Ranch is located at the edge of the world-renowned CMR Wildlife Refuge in the Missouri Breaks and is just south of the Fort Peck Reservoir. The ranch is located in Garfield County and is serviced by the county seat, Jordan. Jordan offers K-12 schools, restaurants, bars, a grocery store, gas stations, hotels, a museum, churches, and a medical center.
Miles City, Montana, is located 85 miles south of Jordan and is commonly known as the Cowboy Capital of Montana and the hub of eastern Montana. Miles City is home to the world-famous Bucking Horse Sale held in May of each year. Miles City has the “small town” flair yet includes all the big town amenities. This legendary western town proudly offers many recreational opportunities with parks, museums, rodeos, horse races, and fishing/floating with access to the Yellowstone River, which borders Miles City.
