Alex Robertson
Broker, OR
Licensed in OR
Alex Robertson is an Oregon farm and ranch broker and part of the Fay Ranches team. Alex grew up in Central Oregon, living on various horse ranches owned by his family. With his ranch-centered upbringing, he developed a passion for horses, cattle, and rodeo—specifically, timed events. Alex participated on the rodeo team for Redmond High School in Oregon, which led him to Walla Walla, Washington, for college rodeo. From there, Alex spent more than a decade traveling the United States as a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. It was this adventure and seeing many amazing ranches that continued to develop his love for the ranching lifestyle, all the while building relationships across the Western United States. To keep the spirit of Western rodeo culture alive, Alex is a proud and continued sponsor of the Central Oregon Pee Wee Rodeo Association (COPWRA).
After retiring from the rodeo, Alex started the next phase of his life: running cattle, farming, hay brokerage, and the beginnings of his real estate brokerage career. Working on his ranching business alongside many other Central Oregon ranchers and farmers, Alex has developed experience and knowledge that contributes to his career as a farm and ranch broker. The agricultural business Alex runs with his wife gives him a “boots on the ground” perspective of farm and ranch real estate, which allows him to offer more insight than most. Irrigated ground, horses and cattle have been a part of his life for as long as he can remember, and this adds to his already large depth of knowledge in the operation of farms and ranches. His knowledge of agricultural real estate is ever-expanding.
Authenticity, humility, and honesty are the core values of Alex’s business practices. In his spare time, Alex enjoys running cows with his two daughters, Sophie Ann and Ellie Jo, and his wife, Heather, coaching little league, playing slow-pitch softball, having a Coors Light with friends, telling old rodeo stories, and doting on his cat, Sir Fredrick.
