Hunter was born and raised in Central Oregon and grew up enjoying hunting, fishing and rodeoing. Team roping and big game hunting continue to be some of his favorite past times. Before starting his ranch brokerage career, he worked on several Central Oregon ranches, excavation companies and in the logging industry. Managing these ranches and being connected to the ranch lifestyle has brought valuable hands-on experience overseeing cattle, hay and farming.
