Welcome to the New Fay Ranches Blog

Hi, Bret here, the Operations Manager at Fay Ranches and welcome to both our new website and the new blog section.

Fay Ranches was originally founded in 1991 as Fay Fly Fishing Properties and morphed into Fay Ranches in 1995. Greg Fay, the founder and current CEO moved to a partnership model in 1998 when James Esperti first joined Greg, and then over the years, partnership offerings were extended to Ryan Flair, Chuck Davison, and B Elfland as well. We have grown over the past 18 years to be one of the most well-known and respected ranch and large property brokerage firms in the western US.

The firm was originally founded on a strong conservation and recreational platform…and continues on the same path today with our primary focus being on:

  • Ranch Values
  • Family
  • Sporting Pursuits
  • Conservation

At Fay Ranches, we truly strive to “be” these things and live the life that these four pillars bring to us. As I write this entry Fay Ranches currently has offices in five states and we have 15 dedicated associates to serve our clients. Each of the Fay Ranches people are passionate about sporting, conservation, their own families (and their clients’ families), and their knowledge relative to ranch values and the best fit for their clients.

I personally joined the Fay Ranches team in 2009 after 10 years of working sales and operations for my own real estate business in CA and then running teams for two different developers in NC and CO. I had been on a quest since 2004 to enter the ranch brokerage field and met Greg and his partners in early 2009. The biggest attractions to working with Fay Ranches would seem to be the same things that attract our clients to Fay and its associates:

  • The fact they care that everything is just right and their caring extends far beyond themselves and their personal associates.
  • They are consummate professionals and their knowledge base is second to none all the while nor arrogant and unapproachable.
  • All the folks at Fay Ranches make everything that anyone does with them feel comfortable and "like home". I have never been in any atmosphere where we get so many compliments on how friendly and comfortable people are made to feel in the normal course of business (and pleasure).
  • Fay Ranches is constantly looking for new and innovative methods to help clients’ properties benefit more, to grow internally, and to expand its own horizons – in the end, it is a compliment to the partners and Greg that they continue to look “outside the box” for both company needs and client needs and wants. To that end…

Please take a look around our new site. While not everything is precisely as we will have it in a few weeks, there are some new and great features and a bunch of fun options like video, search by geography, keyword search throughout the site, and more. Huge thanks and kudos to some great vendors such as Thermal Creative, Schug Industries, and Brickhouse Creative for their guidance, coaching, work, and production on all of this…and more!

On the blog, we have divided the topics so they will relate to the four pillars of “who we are” at Fay Ranches – so, go ahead and shoot us anything you like on Sporting Pursuits, Ranch Values, Family, and/or Conservation matters…we welcome you and your thoughts.

As always, we are looking to move ahead and be proactive regarding anything our clients and associates have to say. So, please give me any feedback, so we can mold and shape what comes next from Fay Ranches around what you and other friends want and need from us. We are always interested.

We’ll see you on the blog more and big thanks from us at Fay Ranches.
