Innaugural Fay Ranches Roundup Fun For All

Roasting Marshmallows at James Espertis Montana Ranch near BozemanJuly 8, 2010 -- Backed by the Bridger Mountains, the lawn of Fay Ranches partner James Esperti and his wife Michelle teemed with kids and dogs as guests at the inaugural Fay Roundup knocked back Dry Fly Vodka tonics & dirty martinis. Kids bounced in the giant inflatable castle and splashed in the pool as “Steve & Michelle” strummed Outlaw Country on the porch.

“The best part of having everyone here,” said James Esperti, “was getting so many of our favorite clients together who’d never met but all share similar values and enjoy what Montana and the intermountain west has to offer. In addition to wanting to introduce our clients to one another it seemed like a great opportunity to just say ‘thanks’ for their business and friendships that we have cultivated over the years.”

The evening’s centerpiece was Gallatin Valley Catering’s succulent pig—roasted on site and dipped in homemade barbeque sauce. The decked-out porker was accompanied by baked beans, salads, pasta and bread. More than a few revelers saved room to build their own sundaes with Wilcoxin’s ice cream, a local favorite. Conversations and shadows stretched deep into dusk, when everyone gathered around the campfire to toast marshmallows. Something tells me this will indeed become an annual event.

Special thanks to photographer Lynn Donaldson for the photography and James Esperti for the hosting the event.
