Bozeman Montana Young Guns

As many of you know me, the third thing I did after arriving last July to start the Fay Ranches COO position and carrying my bride across the threshold of our newly rented “Man’s Home is…” is to seek out the baseball programs here in Bozeman Montana.  Well, we run Cal Ripken, Jr. baseball for our tikes here in this area and Finn (my son) was a perfect age for it.  After having coached baseball for the past 19 years, what’s another 5 or 6 here in Bozeman and all kidding aside, I do love it.  Anyhow, the season is far too short compared to my California days and we took on the challenge of fielding a 9-year-old summer program for those kids who still wanted to play over the summer and who were not yet old enough for the “all-star” experience.  Long story short is that these boys played their first games against the likes of Belgrade and Three Forks (Gallatin Valley) this past weekend and had just a great time.  America’s summer pass-time is alive and kicking for the families of Bozeman and southwest Montana.  Throw me a hot-dog, a piece of apple pie and a tax reduction and I’m in!; Best Regards! - Bret
