Fay Ranches Pumpkin Carving Challenge

Saturday nights in October are always a special time of year on Central Oregon ranches. The weather is cooling, salmon and steelhead are returning, bird hunting is open, deer and elk are available, fields and trees are changing colors, and pumpkins are being harvested!

There are several fun ranches which provide pumpkin patch activities to visit with the kids. These are 6 pumpkins we have picked out and brought home. We had friends over for dinner and a pumpkin carving party which is always a fun activity that unfortunately only comes once a year!
