In the winter months, there is cross country skiing and snowmobiling on the roads and trails in the Blue Mountains. The ranch does get snow, but at times, in order to get into better snow conditions for skiing and snowmobiling, one has to follow the road just a few miles past the ranch to find the heavier snow falls.
